St Katherine Group is a real estate development firm located in Westchester County, and has headquarters in Port Chester, NY. With an emphasis on transit-oriented development and community-conscious design, St Katherine Group has quickly emerged as an influential voice in the local development community. Principal Nick Williams pairs boundless energy with financial acumen from his previous career and nearly a decade’s worth of real estate experience to drive St Katherine’s development operations.
The company was founded in 2010 in the UK by Terry Williams and Sunil Shah. Originally intended to be a lending vehicle to developers following the financial crash, St Katherine quickly assumed the role of developer and has since completed numerous student housing developments in London and Southampton.
The St Katherine Group’s multi-disciplinary approach is organized around 3 core functions: Development, Investment and Construction.
Nick Williams | Founder & Managing Partner
Nick drives St Katherine’s development strategy, deal sourcing, and investment management. Nick’s values are St Katherine’s values– a thoughtful and responsible development approach that has set St Katherine apart from its peers. Nick’s contagious energy and optimism has secured numerous strategic partnerships and propelled St Katherine’s success. Nick worked nearly two decades in finance before turning to real estate.
Dwight Nelson | Partner
Dwight has been a key financial and strategic Partner since St Katherine’s inception. Following adoption of the Qualified Opportunity Zone legislation in 2017, Dwight took an active role in positioning the company’s investment pipeline. Dwight has had a successful career as a long/ short hedge fund manager.
Maria Bravo | Financial Controller
Maria Bravo is the Senior Accountant for St Katherine Group, responsible for all aspects of the financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, and maintaining internal control functions. Maria has over 20 years of experience in the field and has been a key member of St Katherine Group since 2021. She holds a B.S. in Accounting from Iona College, NY.
Colvert Moore | Development Associate
Colvert is the newest addition to St Katherine Group. After graduating in 2021 from UConn’s Real Estate and Urban Economics Program, he has primarily focused on financial modeling for the companies pipeline in addition to day to day operations.
Terry was an innovator and early advocate for computing, founding his Business Computing company Wilco International Ltd in the early 1970’s. He built Wilco into a 1200 employee, global business success based in London, UK. He founded St Katherine Group in 2010 after selling Wilco to ADP Inc.
A qualified Chartered Accountant by training, Sunil held the position of Chief Operations Officer at Wilco Ltd. At Wilco, he helped Terry build the company into a $100 million revenue, multinational business, prior to co-founding St Katherine Group in 2010. At St Katherine, Sunil has been instrumental in structuring, designing and managing each of the group’s projects in the UK. Sunil now manages the UK student portfolio under the brand of www.urba-life.co.uk.
Roger has extensive experience in pulp and paper manufacturing, supply chain and resource management through his highly successful career at Asia Pacific Resource Internal Limited and at AP Chemical. His real estate interests commenced in 2014 when he began investing in European commercial offices. Since then he has completed transaction to the value of US$500m. He has a BA (Business) from Ottawa University, an MBA from University Global 21 Institute and is completing a Masters in Real Estate at the National University of Singapore.
Simone began her career as a management consultant at Arthur Andersen in Germany and worked primarily within their re-engineering group. She later joined as a partner at Tricadis Capital, the European private equity division of the Susquehanna Group, managing their real estate investments. Simone has extensive experience around mixed development, leasing, and project management in both European and US markets.
Marc was one of the earliest investors in St Katherine’s US projects. He has over two decades investment banking experience in global financial markets at Credit Suisse and Barclays Capital. Now retired from the financial industry, Marc invests in real estate and other assets. Marc has a BA from Brown University and MBA from Columbia Business School.
